After the list of symbols has been generated and arranged it is time to
generate and arrange the list of qualifiers. The list of qualifiers is found in the
dialog displayed after clicking on the Qualifiers button of the
If no table was selected when the Symbol Wizard was first run, then all the possible qualifiers are listed in the Available Qualifiers list box. If a table was selected when the utility was first run then the
qualifiers in that table are located in the Output Qualifiers list box in the order in which they appeared in the table.
Adding Qualifiers
To add qualifiers to the list, select the desired qualifiers from the Available Qualifiers list box and then press the Add button. This will add the selected qualifiers to the end of the Output Qualifiers list box. Pressing the Add All button will copy all the remaining qualifiers in the Available Fields list box to the end of the Output Qualifiers list box. The Default button will erase the current list in the Output Qualifiers list box and
replace it with the following list: Last Trade Price, Change, Previous Close,
Volume, High, Low, Time of Update, Exchange Traded, and Date of Update.
Removing Qualifiers
To remove qualifiers from the list, select the unwanted qualifiers from the Output Qualifiers list box and press the Remove button. Pressing the Remove All button will clear the Output Qualifiers list box.
Arranging Qualifiers
To arrange the list of qualifiers, select the qualifiers you wish to move and
then use either the Up or Down arrow to move the selected qualifiers in the desired direction.
Creating Output
The Symbol Wizard output can be generated without any further information from this point by
using either the Matrix or Table buttons. It will make use of any previous settings used, and will insert all
its output with the active cell as its point of reference. If this is not
