There are several different ways to format the Symbol Wizard's output. From the Format dialog, it is possible to generate either a matrix or a table. The symbols
and qualifiers used may be used as headers for the table or matrix, and a table's
orientation may also be determined. There is also an option to have the
worksheet columns fitted to the table or matrix.
Layout Options
When a table is to be generated it is possible to generate it in two different
ways. The symbols may vary by row, and the qualifiers by column, or vice
versa. This will not affect the generation of a matrix. The columns of the
destination spreadsheet may also be fitted to the output generated. This may also be
accomplished by selecting groups of columns and double-clicking on their separator
line. The Show Matrix Intersect Values option insert a link based on the Qualifier used in the matrix for the stock
or future of the intersection. If this option is left out, the cells are left
blank.
Heading Options
Headers may be generated for both a table and a matrix. By selecting the Past Qualifier Names option the columns or rows for each qualifier in a table will be given a
header, if a matrix is generated only the upper left-most corner will show the
header. Selecting the Paste Symbols option does the same thing for a table as the Paste Qualifier Names option, but it will head both the columns and the rows of a matrix with the
symbol names.
